ReQuest for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Get in touch

Email nvanh.1804@gmail.com and you'll normally hear back within two business days. It helps to include your device, your iOS or macOS version, and which AI model you have downloaded — you'll find all three in the app under Settings.

Getting started

ReQuest runs its AI on your device, so the first thing it asks you to do is download a model. That download needs Wi-Fi and some free storage, and it only happens once — after that the app works offline.

If you're not sure which model to pick, take the one the app marks Recommended. It reads your device's memory and won't suggest something that can't run well on it.

Common questions

The model download stalled or failed

Open Settings → AI Model and start it again; downloads resume rather than restarting from zero. If it keeps failing, check you have enough free storage — the models range from about 1 GB to 6.6 GB — and that you're on Wi-Fi rather than a metered connection.

Generating a mindmap, quiz or infographic is slow

Everything is computed on your device, so speed depends on your hardware and on how long the source document is. A larger model produces better results but takes longer and needs more memory. If a long document is struggling, try a smaller model, or split the material into shorter pieces.

The app closed by itself during generation

That's usually memory. iOS gives each app a fixed budget and closes it when the budget is exceeded. Choosing a smaller model, closing other apps, or shortening the source document all help. Models marked May run slowly or Needs more RAM are the ones most likely to hit this on your device.

The transcript is in the wrong language

Each notebook has its own language setting, used for transcription and for the notes ReQuest writes. Open the notebook, edit it, and set the language explicitly instead of leaving it on automatic.

Restoring a purchase

Open the ReQuest Pro screen and tap Restore. Purchases are tied to the Apple ID that bought them, so make sure you're signed in with the same one.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose ReQuest. Cancelling there stops the renewal; you keep Pro until the current period ends.

Deleting your data

You can delete any notebook, recording, file, flashcard or downloaded model from inside the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored locally. If iCloud sync is on, the same deletions propagate to your other devices through your own iCloud account.

Freeing up storage

Downloaded AI models are by far the largest thing ReQuest keeps. Settings → AI Model lists every model you've downloaded with a delete button next to each, including any that your current device can no longer run.
